It is becoming increasingly more common for patients to undergo infusion therapies in the comfort of their own home. Infusion therapy may be required for infections that are unresponsive to oral antibiotics, cancer and related pain, dehydration, gastrointestinal diseases, and more. Specialty infusions are used as a part of treatment plans for conditions such as hemophilia, congestive heart failure, multiple sclerosis, and others.

After a hospital stay, discharging home can be stressful on multiple levels. There are types of infusion therapies where a patient, along with a family member or caregiver, may need to be independent in administration. Our nurses can provide extra help and reduce stress by administering infusion treatments or providing supplemental care.
Injection Training
Teaching visits are an invaluable tool in helping a patient or caregiver feel more confident in their abilities to move forward independently with infusions. Our nurses can provide teaching visits or ongoing support, depending on your needs and comfort level.
